COVID Return To Play Guidelines

During the Spring 2021 Peters Twp Boys Youth Lacrosse season, we will be following our Return To Play Guidelines which can be found in the Headings above. Information in the guidelines may be amended/updated based on best practice information which received from the CDC, PA Dept. of Health, Peters Township School District and/or Peters Twp Parks and Recreation Department as the season approaches. A Return To Play Waiver will be emailed out in the beginning of March for families to sign and return.

Boys' & Girls' Lacrosse Chest Protection FAQs

Points of Emphasis

  • Beginning in 2021, the use of goalie chest protectors that meet the new NOCSAE performance standard will be mandatory in the US Lacrosse boys’ and girls’ youth rules, the NFHS boys’ and girls’ high school rules, and the NCAA men’s and women’s rules.

  • Goalie chest protectors used after January 1, 2021 must be designed for lacrosse and meet the NOCSAE standard, ND200.

  • Beginning in 2022, US Lacrosse boys’ field players, NFHS boys’ field players, and NCAA men’s field players must also wear chest protection that meets the NOCSAE ND200 standard.

  • Products must contain the NOCSAE logo and SEI certification mark to be legal for play.

  • There must be marking on both the packaging and product that states that the product conforms to NOCSAE standard ND200.

Uniform Sizing Information

This year all uniform sizing will be done by the staff at the Topstring Lacrosse store in Bethel Park. The uniform design is the same as last year. All players (new players and returning players in need of new shorts/jersey), please visit the store and report to the staff you need to be fitted for a uniform for Peters Twp Boys Youth Lacrosse. Sizing needs to be completed by 2/14/21.

New Players - when you get sized, please give the staff your top 3 uniform numbers between 0-99.

Returning players - if you want to keep your current number give it to the staff. If you want a new number, then give the staff your top 3 numbers to be compared with other kids in your age group to avoid duplicate numbers.
